The Oud Tutor
	The Oud Tutor is an oud simulator program that provides you with an intuitive way to learn how to play your favorite songs on a real oud. It enables you to learn how to play a song by playing the sound, and in the same time, automatically animating the corresponding fingerings on the oud fingerboard. The Oud Tutor supports middle-eastern music and Arabic music via providing quarter tones and allowing maqam selection. The selected maqam is reflected visually onto the oud, by indicating the maqam notes and their fingering positions. In addition to playing music files, The Oud Tutor also allows you to play the oud yourself using the mouse or the keyboard. The Oud Tutor provides full microtone capability, with a user-controlled option to approximate microtones smaller than quarter notes to the nearest 1/4 note. 	Mazzika is a program that lets the computer keyboard act as a piano keyboard for playing music. It supports middle-eastern music and Arabic music via providing 1/4 tones and allowing "maqam" selection. The selected maqam is reflected visually onto the piano keys, by highlighting the maqam notes and indicating 1/4-tone shifts. Mazzika allows recording the played pieces and saving them as MIDI files. When replaying a recorded piece, or any midi file, the piano keys are automatically animated as if the piece is being played on the piano. The user can control the replay speed.
